Iran’s new Commander-in-Chief: “Israel will cease to exist in the next 25 years”

The new Commander-in-Chief of Iran’s armed forces sent a combative message to Israel and the international community, saying that Iran will control the outcome of any war waged upon it, after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu accused Iran of being a threat to the stability of the region.

After Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu condemned the Iranian attempts to plant a foothold in Syria, Iran’s new armed forces Commander-in-Chief Abdolrahim Mousavi responded. “Strength is based these days on determination and fighters who are willing to sacrifice their lives,” said Mousavi. “Israel will cease to exist in the next 25 years, due to the strong will of such fighters.”
In a speech he gave on Thursday during a cultural event in Qom, Iran, Mousavi stated that Iran’s enemies must remember that only it will decide how and when to end the war with Israel if the latter chooses to open fire on Tehran.
Mousavi claimed that Iran is a symbol of resistance against the global hegemony and that the world now understands that Iran cannot be attacked. “Any country can decide to wage a war against Iran, but it must be aware that Iran will be the one that will design the outcome of that war,” warned Mousavi.
Furthermore, the Beirut based Al-Manar television station, which is affiliated with Hezbollah, revealed today (Friday) footage of drones belonging to Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps, which is participating in the fight against ISIS in Syria. This footage provides evidence of Iran’s growing military activity in the region.
Earlier this week, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with Russian President Vladimir Putin and said that Iran is trying to "Lebanonize" Syria. "We won't allow them to open another front for terror,” said Netanyahu.
